So soon after the news that Thor 2 will have to wait for November 2013, Marvel has announced today that Patty Jenkins (“Monster”) will be directing the movie.
Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, and Natalie Portman are all returning for the sequel.

A Longer Wait For Thor 2
Thor returns next year in The Avengers, but we’ll have to wait longer than that for his movie sequel.
Originally scheduled for July 2013, the film is now scheduled to hit theaters on November 15, 2013.
The change came after a shuffle to allow space for Disney’s Johnny Depp Lone Ranger film.

Thor 2 Is Coming In 2013
Thor returns in 2012 with The Avengers, but the God of Thunder will visit theaters again a year later.
Chris Hemsworth will return but Kenneth Branagh will not be directing.
Marvel and Disney have announced a July 26th, 2013 release date for Thor 2.

Have You Seen Thor Already? Post About It In Our Forum!
Although Thor doesn’t strike the United States until May 6, Australia led the way with the film’s release, putting it out a few days ago, on April 21. Many other territories, including the United Kingdom and Europe, will be releasing the film in the next few days.
So, if you see it, you may want to talk about it. Fortunately, there’s a forum for that.

The Post-Credits Scene From Thor Leaks Online
In this day and age, it seems nothing can be kept off the internet.
The FlickCast and something labeled “WP” have both put the post-credits sequence from the new Thor movie online, inevitably tying it to Captain America, Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Avengers and other films in the range.
