Today Marvel released two character banners for next year’s Avengers movie.

Patty Jenkins To Direct Thor 2
So soon after the news that Thor 2 will have to wait for November 2013, Marvel has announced today that Patty Jenkins (“Monster”) will be directing the movie.
Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, and Natalie Portman are all returning for the sequel.
