Perhaps in an attempt at damage control after the not-so-well received first promotional shot from X-Men: First Class that appeared yesterday, Marvel has provided the L.A. Times Hero Complex blog with three new photos which are posted alongside a set visit story.
Here are the pictures. The Hero Complex article can be found here.

X-FanI dont understand why people were so negative about the first image. It showed several characters in a proper X-Men-like outfit. Is it because the faces are all so young and unknown and dont feature any of the original castmembers? I just dont get the negativity.
Personally I think all the images are cool. The movie is set 40 years before the first one so ofc they have to be way younger and be played by different actors. And characters like Beast and Mystique really look like younger versions of them. And I love the look of Emma Frost. So much like the comics (And so much better than that Pseudo-Emma from the Wolverine movie) I am very excited to see her onscreen for the first time as well as the Hellfire Club or Cyclops brother Alex/Havok.
And its gonna be very interesting to see how the friendship between Xavier and Magneto falls apart.
And Bryan Singer is producing. So I think its gonna be pretty good. The only thing I would consider negative at the moment is the fact that this is the first movie in the franchise that wont have Wolverine in it. But hey we get “The Wolverine” for that in early 2012

deshawndamage control for what? the fact fans don’t understand it was a leaked incomplete image? if you take out all the color and such from popular posters they suck it’s just characters.
